The process
IP Theft starts with an organized conversation. This is a preparation workflow: what to gather, what to clarify and how to keep a useful record as the discussion moves forward.
Share a public original URL, or describe the work if it is unpublished or private. Explain whether you created it, own relevant rights or are authorized to act. Do not send passwords or account access.
Add the exact page, post, video or file link you want to discuss. Keep each suspected copy matched to the right original. For several works, separate the groups so the connection stays readable.
Describe the context, any permission already given and the specific question you have. If you received a notice, keep its wording, reference and stated deadline. Similarity alone does not establish the outcome.
Check URLs, names and the summary before sending. The case planner creates preparation notes; it does not file a notice with a platform. You control the final send in chat.
Return using the same browser for replies. Add new URLs, reference numbers or platform responses to the existing discussion. If action is proposed, clarify the scope and expectations before proceeding.
A clear status tells you what happened. It should not imply a result that has not been confirmed.
An original source, a direct URL or a useful detail is missing. Ask what would make the record clearer.
The brief has been organized. This does not mean a platform notice has been submitted or accepted.
Record what the platform or other party actually said. A request for more information is different from a removal.
Review timing and outcomes depend on the destination, the information provided and the circumstances. No preparation workflow can guarantee a removal or a specific deadline.
Use these official resources to understand reporting requirements. Preparing a brief here does not submit a platform notice.
What to consider, who may submit and which direct links are needed.
Product selection, exact URLs and the distinction between a search result and its source.
